Students travelling to Chatswood High School via public transport may be eligible for subsidised travel to and from school under the School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS), managed by the NSW Ministry of Transport.

Keep our school community safe by:

For independent travellers
Talk safe travel with your high-school-aged child including:
- walking to school safely
- starting high school safely
- public transport safety
- 7 reasons to actively travel to and from school
- wearing a helmet
- skateboarding safely.
Subsidised school travel
Transport for NSW provides subsidies to assist school students.
- The School Student Transport Scheme provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel on public transport between home and school.
- The School Drive Subsidy may help towards the costs of driving children to school if you live in an area where there is no public transport.
Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
We do not offer on-site parking for students.
