At Chatswood High School, the English faculty aims to foster a passion for literature in our students through highly engaging and diverse programs.

Whether it's our Wide Reading Program, or units on poetry, prose, film or Shakespeare, we guide our students through understanding how writers create unique worlds with their words.

Students develop their critical and creative thinking to engage with ideas and express themselves with clarity. Through their engagement with quality literature, they learn about the world and become confident communicators.
