Upcoming Event - The Centre for Changemakers: 'AI and the Human Life'

We invite you to Chatswood High School on Saturday the 5th of September 2026 to be part of another conversation at The Centre for Changemakers.

AI is on, in and around everyone's minds and feeds, and its presence is being felt not just in schools, businesses, industries, and economies - but in homes. It has a bearing on our education, our work, and our humanity.

We will be joined by Dr Simon Longstaff, Executive Director of the Ethics Centre, who will deliver the keynote address.

The event will kick-off with the Chatswood High School Drama Ensemble's play 'EPICAC', an original stage adaptation based on a short story by Kurt Vonnegut that is more than 70 years old but feels more relevant than ever.

Join our panel as we discuss this important turning point in history.

WHERE: Chatswood High School - Hall

WHEN: Saturday 5th September, 11.30am to 1pm.

WHO: Parents and guardians, students and staff of CHS.

We look forward to seeing you there!

From One Student to Another: Welcome to Year 7, 2026

We’re proud to share a special video created entirely by our Peer Support Leaders to welcome our incoming Year 7, 2026 students and their families to Chatswood High School.

Under the guidance of our dedicated Peer Support Coordinator, Ms Chaggar, this video is designed to support a smooth and confident transition into high school life. It’s packed with insights, encouragement, and real student voices — because who better to guide new students than those who’ve walked the path themselves?

Created by students, for students, this video reflects the values that define Chatswood High School— academic excellence, genuine care, strong support, and student leadership.

We can’t wait to welcome our new Year 7 cohort in 2026 — your journey starts here, and we’re so excited to walk it with you.
